You can track your temperature, current heart rate, breathing, blood pressure and oxygen levels all on one device. From there, send it off to your doctor and take the necessary precautions to keep yourself on track.
After that, just take a damp toilette and wipe down the gadget so that it’s ready for next time. Don’t overdo it though, it isn’t waterproof. Made in the USA, this device uses a micro-USB adapter that plugs into a USB port for energy. It also takes less than an hour to get charged after low battery status.
Where Do I Get One?
The scientists who’ve created the Scout concept do have a prototype in play but still need the funding to enhance the product before bringing it to the attention of the FDA. They are going to market it as an over-the-counter consumer-grade diagnostic tool and are pressing the subject that it should not be labeled as, and by no means is, a medical device. However, it can be used as a research tool to collect data and report that data to regulatory authorities such as a primary doctor or physician.
This is a truly remarkable step in bringing patients closer to their doctors. If approved, Scout may also contribute to less Emergency Room visits and quicker diagnoses. The company is currently testing its product on several continents giving users the opportunity to provide public feedback and of course, promote their favorite product features.
